Seit über 28 Jahren bin ich bei der E-ON Kraftwerke vorher BKB Aktiengesellschaft beschäftigt. Zuerst im Kraftwerksbereich als Pumpen- und Turbinenschlosser mit Kranführer-tätigkeit, jetzt im Tagebaubetrieb als Absetzerführer im Einsatz. Unten ist ein Bild von Absetzer 8 zu sehen. Wenn es mir gelingen sollte, noch ein paar Jahre zu bleiben, kann ich irgendwann in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand treten mit dem ein oder anderen Euro in der Tasche.

I've been employed at the E-ON Kraftwerke formerly BKB Inc. since 1982. The first six years in the power plant as a pump and turbine mechanic, since 1988 in the strip-mine, on a spreader, to displace the unnecessary soil that covers the coal. If I can survive a few more years (about 20), I'll have the possibility to go into retirement and maybe have a couple of Euro's in my pocket.
